Overview

Kandy is a picturesque city in the central highlands of Sri Lanka, known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes. As the last capital of the ancient kings of Sri Lanka, Kandy is steeped in history and tradition.

Itinerary

Arrival: Pick up from Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) and transfer to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
Activity1: Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and experience feeding and observing elephants.
Activity2: Visit Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa), a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Activity3: Attend a traditional Kandyan dance show in the evening.

Morning: Visit Ambuluwawa Tower, a multi-religious site with panoramic views.
Activity1: Stop at a Tea Factory in Ramboda to learn about the traditional tea-making process and enjoy fresh Ceylon tea.
Activity2: Visit Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple located in Ramboda.
Afternoon: Visit Lake Gregory and Seetha Amman Temple (Ashoka Vatika).

Morning: Visit Nine Arch Bridge, one of Sri Lanka’s iconic colonial railway structures.
Afternoon: Explore Rawana Falls, a scenic waterfall in the Uva province.

Morning: Enjoy a safari in Udawalawe National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants and other wildlife.

Optional: If time permits, enjoy a Colombo city tour and some shopping.
Departure: Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) for your departure.
